Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Conveniently located across the street from the Skyline Shuttle Stop, it’s easy to access the nearby ski runs and lifts at Big Sky Resort. Skycrest boasts fabulous views and offers spacious condominiums with rock fireplaces, private indoor hot tubs, underground parking and the most dramatic views in Big Sky. Skycrest condominiums are less than a mile from the lifts across the main road and serviced by the free shuttle. Blue Grouse Hills is the perfect year-round location for a quiet family retreat to Big Sky, abutting rolling sagebrush and forested hills near Town Center. Big Sky Town Center is a 10-minute walk or short drive, where guests will find many of our favorite local shops, restaurants, groceries, and nightlife. Other nearby activities include fly-fishing and rafting on the Gallatin River, horseback riding, and mountain biking. The west entrance of Yellowstone National Park is a 45-minute drive to the south, most of which is through the scenic northwest corner of the park and Gallatin National Forest.
