Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

A custom-built luxury home, Moon Rider Ski Chalet is perfect for lovers of mountain architecture. The home was built out of Durfeld logs from British Columbia, which create a warm and cozy atmosphere throughout the space. With two living rooms, a loft, modern kitchen, and deck complete with its own hot tub, families or large groups will find plenty of room to relax while on their ski vacation. Located near the Moonlight Lodge, directly on the groomed run Powder River, the Cowboy Heaven Cabins enjoy beautiful views year-round, and easy ski access to all of Big Sky Resort's terrain in the winter. When your day of adventure comes to an end, take a dip in your private outdoor hot tub, soaking in the incredible surrounding scenery. Marrying modern architecture with a cozy mountain-home atmosphere, Tanager House is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Silvertip cabin offering a light-filled, wood-and-glass escape with sweeping views of the surrounding Madison Mountain Range, including Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks. With direct access to a groomed, novice-friendly ski trail, which takes you directly to the Madison Base Area and Six-Shooter high-speed chairlift, Tanager House is ideal for skiers of all levels. In the summer, explore hiking and mountain-biking trails at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. A glass door leads to a private deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, BBQ grill, and private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park. Please note that if you opt to pay the guest fee, you can access the private Moonlight Basin Club, and its gracious amenities.

Built on three levels, this 5,250 square-foot home is ideal for groups and families, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests. The master bedroom, conveniently located on the main level, features a king bed, private deck, gas fireplace and en-suite bath with mountain views from a large soaking tub. A guest master, also featuring a king bed, offers total privacy as the only room (along with a detached private bath) on the upper level. On the main level, an expansive deck offers ample outdoor seating with breathtaking views of the Spanish Peaks Range. Fire up the BBQ grill for apres-ski al fresco, or simply take in the sun on your private patio in between runs. With a custom ski room to store your gear, you can easily ski and stop at your leisure, treating Alpenglow as your own private lodge.

With 4 bedrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms spread out over 3 levels, this provides ample space for guests to gather and enjoy meals together while offering an opportunity to find peace and quiet. The main level features an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining area and living room flowing seamlessly together. The living room, complete with a sofa and loveseat, provides a relaxed setting with the wood-burning fireplace, flatscreen TV and sprawling mountain views from the large picture window.
