Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Sophisticated and contemporary, the Swift Bear Lodge is a year-round getaway with spectacular mountain views of Lone Mountain. In winter, this 5 bedroom, 5 bath home is ski accessible with easy access to the White Otter lift. One of the bedrooms is located on the main level, with a king bed and private bath. There are three more bedrooms downstairs, two of which offer king beds and the last of which has a captain’s bunk bed. One of these bedrooms has a private bath, while the others share a hall bath. The fifth bedroom is located above the garage with two sets of twin bunk beds and a private bath. The game room is downstairs and has a pool table and TV/DVD player. The covered deck has a gas grill and private outdoor hot tub; the two-car garage offers boot dryers and ski cubbies for your convenience.

Marrying modern architecture with a cozy mountain-home atmosphere, Tanager House is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Silvertip cabin offering a light-filled, wood-and-glass escape with sweeping views of the surrounding Madison Mountain Range, including Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks. With direct access to a groomed, novice-friendly ski trail, which takes you directly to the Madison Base Area and Six-Shooter high-speed chairlift, Tanager House is ideal for skiers of all levels. In the summer, explore hiking and mountain-biking trails at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. A glass door leads to a private deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, BBQ grill, and private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park. Please note that if you opt to pay the guest fee, you can access the private Moonlight Basin Club, and its gracious amenities.

With convenient ski in/ski out access to all of Big Sky Resort's terrain, these spacious suites are perfect for the skiers and boarders in your group, although they can be enjoyed year-round. The Cowboy Heaven Luxury Suites enjoy incredible alpine views and luxury appointments that will make them a favorite home away from home. An ideal choice for family and friends, the suites each offer a private deck with a hot tub. For your convenience, there is a one car garage designated for your suite as well as a private laundry room. An optional guest membership fee will also give you access to the outdoor pool at the private Moonlight club.
