Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

Powder Ridge Cabins are handcrafted cabins with roomy floor plans, modern amenities, and old world charm. Enjoy cozy a fireplace, private outdoor hot tub, and a full kitchen, all nestled in the pines on the flanks of Lone Peak. The Powder Ridge Cabins are great for families and groups. Located on the north end of the Mountain Village, you can access skiing via secluded trails and bridges. In fact, on your first day of skiing, you can access the White Otter Lift and ski over to the base area to pick up your lift tickets. Just make sure you get exact directions on the best ski route back to your cabin, or you might end up too far down the mountain! Private vehicles are required for this location.

Alpine Meadow Chalets are surrounded by lodge pole pines and are located within a half mile of the Madison Base Area. Chalets feature fine finishes, designer décor with cathedral ceilings, stone fireplaces, decks, in-unit laundry facilities and full kitchens. A private vehicle is recommended.

A striking entryway with high ceilings, stone floors and unique copper doors welcomes guests as they pass a stone fireplace to an airy, modern great room with plush sofas and fur-lined club chairs facing a framed view of Lone Peak.

Stay above the slopes at this Big Sky retreat, located in the Cascade neighborhood with panoramic mountain views. Thoughtfully and custom designed with every detail considered for a relaxing mountain vacation, the 4-bedroom contemporary View Home features multi-level decks overlooking Lone Peak, a hot tub and ski room. A sweeping, open floor plan with high ceilings and picture windows allows for unobstructed mountain views from nearly every room. Ski-in/ski-out access makes it easy to simply click-in and catch first tracks. Inside, you’ll find tasteful mountain decor with unique accents, including an aspen staircase and Noguchi-inspired lanterns. A plush, wrap-around sofa and fur accents invite guests to gather in the great room, while an eat-in bar seating make the gourmet kitchen and dining areas inviting, social spaces. From this mountain-top estate, Big Sky’s two base areas are a 5-minute drive away, offering easy access to ski school, shopping, dining and family activities. Big Sky Town Center, offering restaurants, movies, free concerts, and a seasonal farmers’ market, is a 10-minute drive. In the summer, escape to the Beehive Basin Trailhead just 3 minutes away for hiking along wildflower-lined trails.

Stunning views come with the Lone View Lodge home in Mountain Village, with ski access to Big Sky Resort via the White Otter and Cascade chair lifts. It’s just a short drive from Yellowstone National Park in the summer. The secluded location of this home affords spectacular mountain views from all angles. There are four bedrooms in total, two with king beds and private baths, a third with a queen bed, and a fourth with a twin bunk bed set and captain’s bunk bed set. The third and fourth bedrooms share a bath. A downstairs family room includes a home theater and gas fireplace, making it a comfortable retreat for the family in addition to the living room. This home also offers a private outdoor hot tub as well as a gas grill, Direct TV, and wireless internet. For your convenience Lone View also provides a laundry room and a two-car garage.

An inviting entryway with a comfortable bench has ample space for coats, boots and bags. A laundry room off the entryway makes it easy to clean up after a busy day on the slopes. An open living, dining and kitchen area has beautiful wide-plank hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, a large stone fireplace and beautiful mountain views. Rich leather sofas and an armchair surround a TV and an impressive stone wood-burning fireplace. Sliding glass doors open from the living area to a patio with a large hot tub and a gas grill. Marrying modern architecture with a cozy mountain-home atmosphere, Tanager House is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Silvertip cabin offering a light-filled, wood-and-glass escape with sweeping views of the surrounding Madison Mountain Range, including Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks. With direct access to a groomed, novice-friendly ski trail, which takes you directly to the Madison Base Area and Six-Shooter high-speed chairlift, Tanager House is ideal for skiers of all levels. In the summer, explore hiking and mountain-biking trails at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. A glass door leads to a private deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, BBQ grill, and private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park. Please note that if you opt to pay the guest fee, you can access the private Moonlight Basin Club, and its gracious amenities.
