Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. The Huntley Lodge includes convenient access to an outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, and a fitness center.

Doc’s Holiday is an updated suite offering 3 bedrooms, two of which are master bedrooms, plus a bonus room. Both master bedrooms, one upstairs and one down, provide a king bed and a gas burning fireplace for premium relaxation. All four bedrooms include flat screen TVs with Sonos Soundbars and DirecTV. The bonus room is a great escape for kids with a flat screen TV, Wii gaming console with select family games, DVD/Blueray player with select movies as well as classic board games. This media room doubles as a fourth bedroom with a deluxe Queen Plus Comfort Sleeper sofa bed. In winter, this 5 bedroom, 5 bath home is ski accessible with easy access to the White Otter lift. One of the bedrooms is located on the main level, with a king bed and private bath. There are three more bedrooms downstairs, two of which offer king beds and the last of which has a captain’s bunk bed. One of these bedrooms has a private bath, while the others share a hall bath. The fifth bedroom is located above the garage with two sets of twin bunk beds and a private bath. The game room is downstairs and has a pool table and TV/DVD player. The covered deck has a gas grill and private outdoor hot tub; the two-car garage offers boot dryers and ski cubbies for your convenience.
