This deluxe slopeside facility combines the convenience of a hotel with the amenities of a condominium. Flexible lock-offs allow for many sleeping configurations. The Summit melds European sophistication with Western style. The elegant Euro-Western Summit at Big Sky made its debut in March 2000 and features eight residential levels, two public levels with reception, concierge, meeting rooms, Provisions resort wear gift shop and an espresso cart. There are also three levels of underground parking. Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. These one of a kind cabins offer the adventurous spirit of a stay in a mountaintop fire lookout tower with all of the luxurious comforts Big Sky's most discerning guests have come to expect. The Beehive Basin View cabin is perched at the north end of the property with open views across its namesake-Beehive Basin. The upper level of this cabin is an open floor plan consisting of a gourmet kitchen, dining area, and living room. A massive floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace warms this space as you entertain and enjoy the panoramic views. Take in the sunrise while eating breakfast before a day of skiing or hiking and marvel at sunset views while the chef in the family prepares dinner to refuel after after a day of adventuring. Seat up to 6 at the dining table plus an additional 3 at the kitchen island. The upper level opens to a 360 degree wrap-around balcony complete with a gas grill. Please note that a four wheel drive vehicle with winter tires and winter driving experience is required for access during winter months. The Black Eagle Lodges are less than 1/4 mile to the Plaza and nearly at the foot of the Black Bear Poma Lift. Ski in to your elegant accommodations and relax on the scenic deck. Custom built with local timber and stone, the ski-in, ski-out Alpenglow is a contemporary ski home on a private, wooded lot with high-ceilings, stone fireplaces and log beams, accented by granite countertops, marble baths, and top-of-the-line appliances. Large picture windows frame impressive views of Wilson Peak and the Spanish Peaks Range. Built on three levels, this 5,250 square-foot home is ideal for groups and families, comfortably accommodating up to 16 guests. The master bedroom, conveniently located on the main level, features a king bed, private deck, gas fireplace and en-suite bath with mountain views from a large soaking tub. A guest master, also featuring a king bed, offers total privacy as the only room (along with a detached private bath) on the upper level. On the main level, an expansive deck offers ample outdoor seating with breathtaking views of the Spanish Peaks Range. Fire up the BBQ grill for apres-ski al fresco, or simply take in the sun on your private patio in between runs. Silverado Lodge is a sprawling modern cabin situated halfway between Big Sky’s Town Center and the Spanish Peaks mountain range, a 5-minute drive from restaurants, shops and entertainment downtown and just 20 minutes from skiing at Big Sky Resort. Constructed using Western red cedar logs, the 5-bedroom estate offers a feeling of seclusion with sweeping views and a private sledding hill in the backyard. High ceilings with towering beams, floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple private decks and wood-burning fireplaces evoke a classic alpine lodge, while radiant heat, DirecTV and a bubbling hot tub add modern comforts. In the open-concept living area, a wrap-around leather sofa and armchairs frame a two-story, stone fireplace and large-screen TV for cozy nights after a day of mountain adventures. Through an arched log doorway, a formal dining table seats 8 guests for dinner with mountain views. Four stools at the kitchen breakfast bar allow for a separate “kids’ table.” The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need for home-cooked meals. Sliding glass doors open the dining area onto an expansive deck overlooking the Spanish Peaks. A table and chairs allow for al fresco dining on blue-bird days, while lounge chairs and a private hot tub add relaxation. Stretching the length of the home, the deck also has entrances from the living area and master bedroom. Each of the home’s five bedroom suites offers mountain or woodland views through big picture windows.
