    Getting to Northstar

    Located about 45 minutes from Reno-Lake Tahoe International Airport (RNO) and three hours from the San Fransisco Bay Area, Northstar is accessible from just about anywhere in the world. RNO services more than 140 flights daily to and from 15 non-stop destinations. Non-stop cities include Boise, Chicago/Midway, Chicago/O’Hare, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oakland, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose and Seattle. Because RNO provides the quickest access to the ski slopes, Ski.com recommends flying into there.     Northstar Directions

    If you’ve opted for a rental car, you’re going to head north when leaving the airport terminal. Take US-395 N ramp on the left to I-80/Reno/Sparks/Truckee. Keep right at the fork and merge onto I-580 N/US-395 N. Continue for almost three miles. Take exit 68B for Interstate 80 W toward Reno/Sacramento. Merge onto I-80 W and continue for 31 miles. Take the CA-89/CA-267 exit toward Sierraville/Lake Tahoe. Turn left onto CA-267 E/CA-89 S. Continue for nearly six miles. Turn right onto Northstar Drive. At traffic circle stay straight on Northstar Drive. You’ve arrived at Northstar-at-Tahoe.
