Tucked onto a five-acre lot with views of Bald Mountain and the surrounding peaks, this Elkhorn vacation rental is just minutes from skiing. Its spacious interiors and five suite-style bedrooms can accommodate ten friends or family members in modern comfort. Morning Star Road 715 opens to a beautiful patio with fantastic views. When there’s snow on the ground, entertain indoors in the inviting games room, which features a pool table, ping-pong table and wet bar. A fireplace is the perfect spot to curl up with a book, while Wi-Fi lets you stay in touch with friends at home. The villa’s bright, roomy interiors are warm and welcoming. A vaulted ceiling with exposed wood beams stretches over the great room’s living and dining areas, with sofas around the stone fireplace at one end and a table that seats ten at the other. The fully-equipped kitchen is just off the great room and has state-of-the-art gourmet appliances and a built-in stone pizza oven. Each of the five bedrooms at Morning Star Road 715 has an en-suite bath. There are two bedrooms with king beds that open directly to the terrace, and three bedrooms with queen beds. High ceilings, wood trim and neutral tones make the bedrooms feel chic yet tranquil. It’s just a 5-minute drive to the Elkhorn lift at Dollar Mountain, and about a 4-mile drive to Sun Valley Ski Resort.

Originally built to Averell Harriman’s specifications, the Harriman Cottage was reconstructed in 2004 on the edge of Sun Valley Lake. The private residence sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, a short walk away from Sun Valley Village, Lodge and Inn, and with stunning views across the lake to Bald Mountain. Exquisitely furnished, this 3,025 square foot luxury house has 5 bedrooms and 5 baths on the main floor, designed around a large, sunny, central dining and living room. There are two en suite master bedrooms, one with fireplace and small adjoining bedroom/study. Each of the three guest rooms, has two twin beds and a separate bath. The large gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, granite countertops and a breakfast bay that seats six. On the lower level, there is a separate den for work or play with its own desk, seating area and wide-screen TV. A beautifully landscaped stone terrace with mountain and pond views and a gas grill is located off the living room. A breezeway off the front entry leads to a two-car garage. The Harriman Home also has high-speed internet, premium cable, HDTV, DVR and DVD. Full Sun Valley amenities with use of year-round heated pools, a hot tub and sauna are included.

The master suite has a king bed, and three additional rooms each have a queen, and the fourth bedroom, which is slightly detached from the main part of the home, contains two double beds. The home’s open floor plan offers a variety of spaces for entertainment and relaxation, including a back patio area with a fire pit and waterfall, deck sitting area, living area with a fireplace and a game room with an HD TV, pool table, arcade machine and stick hockey game. Skyline Drive also features a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, dining area, office, laundry area, one-car stall in the garage, air-conditioning and complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access. Experience nature trails for biking, hiking, walking and even cross-country skiing just beyond the backyard!

This warm, inviting ranch-style home is nestled in the trees on Warm Springs Creek with amazing views of Bald Mountain. The Georginia 109 home offers 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, comfortably sleeping 6. Both the master bedroom and the second bedroom have king beds. The third bedroom is equipped with a queen bed. Both the living room and family room feature large river rock fireplaces. The kitchen is fully equipped and provides great views. A two-car garage is attached and high-speed internet access is available. The deck, with a gas grill, and the hot tub, look over the creek and up at the mountains, affording a wonderful, relaxing view.
