Perfectly situated just off Main Street, South Pacific offers the perfect base for those who want to get out and explore all that wonderful Telluride has to offer. Take advantage of some downtime in the living room that is centered around an impressive stone fireplace. Seating includes an armchair and a leather sofa, and you’ll also enjoy the use of a large flat-screen television. Any cooking enthusiasts in your group are sure to be pleased by the gourmet kitchen that comes with high-end stainless steel appliances, and there’s a pretty dining table with seating for all six guests as well as a breakfast bar. It’s a lucky couple who snags the incredible master suite at South Pacific. Sprawling across the entire top floor, this bedroom boasts vaulted ceilings and amazing views of the ski resort. The bed is a super-comfy king, and there’s also a private bath with an over-size jetted tub, a glass steam shower, and his-and-her sinks. On the home’s lowest level there is a nice queen suite with a private bath and a split king suite with a bath across the hall. Depending upon your sleeping needs, the split king may be used as two twin-size beds. A significant element of Telluride's charm is its free year-round gondola transportation network. Walk up to the Mountain Lodge lobby and enjoy a warm fireplace, a cold drink, or a dip in the all-season swimming pool. Once in the lobby, grab the Mountain Lodge's free shuttle to the Mt Village Core or to the gondola plaza which offers a coffee bar, a well-stocked liquor store, the town post office and the Free Intercept gondola station. From here, it is a 3 minute glide to the heart of the Village core, another 4 minute ride to Allred's Restaurant at the top of the ridge, and 11 minutes more to the town of Telluride. In the winter, pull your ski boots on in front of the in-unit fire place and walk approximately 100 yards to the Double Cabins ski access (a green run). Once there, slide down to Lift 10 or Lift 1 and start your ski day. If you end up skiing into the Village Core or into the town of Telluride, you can ride the free gondola back to the Mt Village and call for the free Mountain Lodge shuttle.

Located in a premier residential neighborhood of downtown Telluride, the Historic Thompson House can be traced back to 1898 and the early 20th century when the Thompson family settled here from Finland. The home was then kept in the family all the way through the 1970s. In 2023, new owners completed a to-the-studs remodel and redesign that you can now enjoy. The home is located on a sunny, oversized lot with ideal south-facing views of the mountain and ski runs. It’s an easy two-block walk to lift seven and the gondola, where Mountain Village is a picturesque ride away! Just a short walk to the main street shops and restaurants, it is also one block from one of the area's trendiest bars, a wine store, a popular restaurant, and the beautiful San Miguel River trail.
