Stowe’s Spruce Peak and Mount Mansfield (Vermont’s highest peak at 4,395 feet) and receives an average of 333 inches of snow annually. But just in case Mother Nature isn’t cooperating, the resort has enough snowmaking to cover 90% of the mountain. Its modern lift system includes the world’s fastest eight-passenger gondola and 100% of its terrain is accessible by high-speed lifts.
Stowe offers a new base area, a 10-person intermountain transfer gondola, two new high-speed detachable quads, a new beginner area, fully-automated snowmaking and exclusive mountain residences and Spruce Peak, a new slopeside luxury hotel and spa.
More than a high-end hotel, Spruce Camp has completely transformed the face of the base area. It offers Stowe’s guests a bar, restaurants, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, shopping, equipment repair and rental facilities, tickets and a public lounge. And to make things easy for people to get around, the beautifully designed facility is conveniently located next to the new Over Easy transfer gondola, providing easy access to the slopes of both Mount Mansfield and Spruce Peak.
New in 2007, the Stowe Mountain Lodge is also located at the heart of Spruce Peak's lively alpine community. Visitors may enjoy a luxurious spa, wellness center and the Salon Mario Russo. To address all needs, concierges are available as is a ski-valet, twice-daily housekeeping, 24-hour in-room dining and artisan-inspired cuisine. The lodge offers highly-customized services and personalized in-room amenities.
