Blue Grouse Hills is the perfect year-round location for a quiet family retreat to Big Sky, abutting rolling sagebrush and forested hills near Town Center. This quaint neighborhood features a small handful of townhome duplexes styled on the exterior as log cabins with all the comforts of home inside—and lots of outdoor living space for lawn games or playing in the yard. Big Sky Town Center is a 10-minute walk or short drive, where guests will find many of our favorite local shops, restaurants, groceries, and nightlife. Other nearby activities include fly-fishing and rafting on the Gallatin River, horseback riding, and mountain biking. The west entrance of Yellowstone National Park is a 45-minute drive to the south, most of which is through the scenic northwest corner of the park and Gallatin National Forest.

This 3-bedroom, 4.5-bath house is a ski accessible escape nestled on the wooded grounds of Moonlight Basin. Hardwood beams, vaulted ceilings, log furniture and mountain decor evoke the feeling of a classic ski lodge, while a gourmet kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and cozy living spaces makes this 2,600 square-foot residence feel like home. A two-story great room features two full-length sofas and a comfy armchair framing a wood-burning fireplace and large flat-screen TV for relaxing nights in, while a formal 8-seat dining table, set beneath an impressive cast-iron chandelier, allows families to gather around a home-cooked meal. With granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, the kitchen is sure to inspire the family chef. Three seats at the breakfast bar provide additional seating or a separate kids’ area. Floor-to-ceiling windows reveal sweeping mountain views from a private wrap-around deck, which also features a four-seat table and chairs, gas grill, and private hot tub. The spacious master suite offers views of its own with a private balcony overlooking mountains and towering pine trees. In addition to a king-sized bed, this room features a plush loveseat facing a gas fireplace, a flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a soaker tub and separate shower. Two additional bedrooms are on the first floor, both featuring queen-sized beds and private bathrooms. A third-floor loft features two additional twin beds plus an additional trundle bed to comfortably sleep 10 total guests, as well as a full-length sofa, desk, flat-screen TV and private bath. From the main-level ski room, a private staircase leads to a groomed access trail for convenient ski access to Moonlight Basin or Big Sky Resort, giving each guest the freedom to hit the slopes, break for lunch, or start apres-ski at their leisure. A private washer and dryer ensures every day can start with dry clothes. Beyond the slopes, a one-car garage gives you the freedom to explore the shops, dining and entertainment in downtown Big Sky, a 5-10 minute drive away. In the summer, soak in the mountain views and hit the trails for hiking and biking, or test your high-altitude driving distance at the nearby Big Sky Golf Course.

Located near the Moonlight Lodge, directly on the groomed run Powder River, the Cowboy Heaven Cabins enjoy beautiful views year-round, and easy ski access to all of Big Sky Resort's terrain in the winter. Alpine Meadows Luxury Suites are unmatched in their spectacular panoramic views of the Big Sky area and their luxurious furnishings. Doc’s Holiday is an updated suite offering 3 bedrooms, two of which are master bedrooms, plus a bonus room. Two of the bedrooms and the bonus room are located downstairs, giving them direct walk out access to the hot tub. Both master bedrooms, one upstairs and one down, provide a king bed and a gas burning fireplace for premium relaxation. All four bedrooms include flat screen TVs with Sonos Soundbars and DirecTV. The bonus room is a great escape for kids with a flat screen TV, Wii gaming console with select family games, DVD/Blueray player with select movies as well as classic board games. This media room doubles as a fourth bedroom with a deluxe Queen Plus Comfort Sleeper sofa bed. The great room has a gas fireplace and a deck with a gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the breathtaking views. The well-appointed kitchen offers a copper sink, stainless steel appliances and is complete with a wine fridge in the center island. The dining area seats up to 10 guests. There is an additional ski room attached to this suite with an 8 pair boot dryer, 2 storage benches, 10 pair ski rack and two snow board racks. There is also a laundry room for your convenience.
