Mt. Bachelor Intermediate Skiing

Intermediates have their run of Mt. Bachelor, including access to the 9,000-plus-foot summit, which yields unforgettable views and frame-worthy photos. With 25 percent of the terrain designated as “blue” the Mt. Bachelor intermediate skiing will not disappoint those looking for fun cruisers.

Mt. Bachelor Intermediate Terrain

If you’re on a mission to get to Mt. Bachelors pristine, baron summit, then you’ll probably want to start from the Sunrise Lodge base area. Hop on the Sunrise Express to the Summit Express chairlift and within about 15 minutes TK you’re whisked more than 9,000 feet. Have your camera ready and snap a couple photos. From the summit you have your pick of blue terrain down the East side of the mountain. Runs like Healy Heights or Wanoga Way offer intermediate skiers picture perfect groomers on natural, playful halfpipe-esque terrain that makes for unique and unforgettable skiing.

Head to the West side of the resort via Avalanche, then hop on Skyline Express chairlift, which gives a perfect view of Bachelor Terrain Parks area, which is littered with progressive small, medium and large lines, and allows you to scope out a potential zone. Eventually make your way to Pine Marten Express chairlift and then head into intermediate to advanced skiers paradise—a slew of blue runs—accessed by Outback Express chairlift.
